- FBI's Robert Ressler: The snowball behind police psychics
TK Kenyon's comments concerning profiling are right on the mark. It is evident that Robert Ressler (the former director of the FBI's Violent Criminal Apprehension Program, and a media proponent of profiling), has also for many years supported the use of police psychics. He has defended under testimony Court TV psychic Noreen Renier and passed on her name to "dozens" of law enforcement personnel. He considers Renier "the best" and has supported her claims of being "instrumental" in locating a crash aircraft with four passengers. Ressler has in fact been the principal snowball for the last 20 years in getting Renier involved with "hundreds" of law enforcement agencies. Their are interesting and perplexing ties between Ressler, Renier and a close network of PSI proponents.
